Alliance Automotive Group Germany Leadership Transition

14 Oct 2024

Category: AAG News, Company News

We would like to announce a leadership transition within Alliance Automotive Group.

Fabian Roberg, Managing Director of the German business unit, will step down from his role at the end of October 2024. Fabian has held an esteemed role in the German Automotive aftermarket business for over 30 years, and since the acquisition of his former family business by the Group in 2015, Fabian continued to spearhead the German business unit with great dedication, vision and extraordinary market knowledge, successfully growing its revenue from €150 million to over half a billion euros.

Through several strategic acquisitions, such as Busch, Hennig, Knoll etc. which were integrated successfully in the business, Fabian and his team expanded the German distribution network to nationwide coverage, making the business one of the national leaders in the market. Recently, he led a significant step towards modernisation by the launch of a new automated OE-Warehouse in Münster. With this achievement he paves the way to elevate our position in the industry with a future oriented approach.

We would like to thank Fabian for his dedicated leadership and significant contribution to the success of our business, which has positioned us for continued growth.

Cor Baltus, current head of Alliance Automotive Group Benelux’s unit, will take over as Managing Director of the German business unit on November 1st, 2024. Cor joined the Group when the Parts Point Group was acquired in 2019. He brings extensive automotive market experience, at both OEM and IAM level, and has successfully grown the Benelux business across Netherlands and Belgium. Rob Visser has been appointed as the new Managing Director for Benelux.

We are confident that Cor will drive the German business unit to further success and continue its growth trajectory. We wish him great success in his new position.
